waking up at 2:50 a.m. to get to the hospital by 3:40 a.m. is killer i tell you.
every night before i go in i still have nightmares that i will sleep in....every time.
so basically i get no sleep these nights and end up staying awake a full 24 hours haha.
but was last week totally worth it.
i got to sit in on my very first four-vessel cerebral angiogram.
this may be something people shrug of and have seen a million times and it's their daily routine...
but for me,
it was the most amazing thing i've seen in my clinicals so far.
like really though...the whole time i was just saying to myself
"i wish i could take pictures with my mind or record this whole thing!"
the RN, NP and Radiologist were so awesome and seriously so nice!
it made that experience that much more meaningful.
i feel so cheesy writing how excited and gushy i got getting to watch this but really..
i will admit...
i'm just a huge nerd and this stuff is seriously what i'm supposed to do.
freak...i may or may not have teared up i was so happy.
all i have to say is that i have a new found love for radiology and most definitely
could see myself ending up there.
